Fanely Releases

Releases

Updates and recent changes for Fanely.

Latest version

As of 2026-08-20

You can now register Japanese stocks, US stocks, and mutual funds for each member and check their value using prices you enter. Assets stay separate from allowance and appear on Home only when you enable the display setting. Investment products can now be registered separately by product type and market, with support for stocks, ETFs, mutual funds, bonds, REITs, crypto assets, commodities, and other products. Families in Japan can optionally assign NISA, specified, or general account types and quickly update valuation prices from an instrument screen. Foreign-currency holdings can now use Fanely’s daily adopted exchange rate automatically. The instrument screen shows the applied rate, provider, and effective time, and you can switch to a manual rate. When recording an investment purchase or sale, you can optionally link only the amount actually moved as an allowance expense or income.

In App Clip, you can now open a family invitation or use the default start screen to create a family or enter an invitation code. After signing in with Apple, check balances and Quests before continuing to the full app. On Apple Intelligence-compatible devices running iOS 26, scan a receipt to fill in the amount, date, merchant, and category for a spending record, then review the details before saving. You can now add, subtract, multiply, and divide directly from the keypad while entering a transaction amount. When assets are shown, allowance, assets, and points now appear as three rows in one balance card; otherwise, the familiar two-card layout remains. In child mode, the Home screen now shows available money and points in two large side-by-side cards, with Medals at the end of the action list. When you open Fanely Lab without Premium, you can now review the Premium benefits and continue directly to plan selection.

Tapping an announcement notification now opens its details over your current screen. When using the iPad app on a Mac, showing an error alert no longer causes the app to close. For investment splits, merges, or quantity corrections, you can now check the current holding and enter the new quantity.

Announcements from the Fanely team can now be delivered to all devices, iOS only, or Android only. Devices outside the selected platform will not show the in-app announcement or receive its push notification. Existing split expenses can now be saved after changing their date from the future to today or earlier, even when a participant’s balance becomes negative. Savings goals now swipe smoothly to a red delete action, disappear from the list immediately after deletion, and show the result on the screen. When you have no personal savings goal, you can also check the progress of a shared goal you participate in from Home.

Available versions and timing may vary depending on App Store display and rollout status.

2026-07-14

When there is no goal yet, children can start from familiar examples, and the garden grows with their everyday efforts. Coins appear in the savings box as the goal grows, while the progress bar and percentage show the exact progress. “Next thing you can do” shows an action available in the current state. From the Savings Box, children can open the full list of savings goals, or find tasks when the balance is zero. On iPad, the child home shows the full garden illustration beside the savings details.

  • Savings goal drafts are now kept separate for each family member, and the resume prompt appears only when another goal can be created.
  • CSV exports now include allowance transactions and savings data only for members the person exporting is allowed to view.
  • Top actions across Android’s main tabs now match iOS: the profile appears normally, Child Mode shows the Parent Mode switch followed by the profile, and Home also shows the Premium crown when unsubscribed.
